Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

I purchased my Lexus NX450H+ plug in hybrid in October 2024. I had a £1800.00 wall charger installed by Hive, I asked Octopus to take me of of the fixed rate tariff I was on and put me on a tariff, that is cheaper for charging EV vehicles overnight at cheaper rate. The last time I was able to charge the car was 12/02/25. I have called numerous numbers and can’t get a resolution. The dealer deals with the car and has proven the problem is not the car, but they don’t deal with the charger or the app. The charger customer services don’t deal with the car or the app. The app customer services doesn’t deal with the car or the charger. Since I purchased the car I have been left to my own devices, I have been fobbed off and passed from pillar to post. There is no resolution in sight. I am on a more expensive electricity tariff which keeps on churning regardless of these problems.

How reliable do you find the car?

The car is reliable however it is a plug in and I haven’t been able to charge it since 12th Feb. I reported it to Lexus, they said call the charger people, I called the charger people, they said ring the app people. The App people said there is a problem but as a temporary work around you can use an RFID tag that I should have got when the charger was installed. I wasn’t given one. They said they would send me one but haven’t.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

I expected to be able to charge it as it is a plug in.
